Indulge in a delectable five-course culinary journey curated by our kitchen team, co-executive chefs Eli Biggs and Brando Estrada and kitchen manager Travis Oneal, complemented by a selection of expertly paired beers handpicked by the renowned Founder & Advanced Cicerone® Matt Bowes and Advanced Cicerone® Josh Waycaster.

$95 per person (food, beer, & gratuity included, tax not included). Refunds by request up to 10 days before event. Must be 21+ to attend.

The menu will be predetermined, but we will do our best to accommodate dietary restrictions.

Pour yourself into a good book! Come hang out at The Southern Growl and enjoy some great beers while reading some great books.

Meetups will be held the first Wednesday night of every month, starting at 6PM with 30 minutes to settle in, order any food or drinks, and meet some fellow readers! The next hour, 6:30 - 7:30 PM, will be a quiet hour and then the last half hour is optional socializing, or you can just keep reading because we all know a good book can be hard to put down.

Bring whatever you are currently reading or what to get started, grab a beer, meet some awesome readers, and have a great time. Cheers!

Tuesday May 7th, 7:00-9:30pm

Join trivia master and The Southern Growl founder/owner Matt Bowes for an evening of healthy competition. Trivia at The Southern Growl is not themed, but there is always a beer round, obviously.

To guarantee a table for your team reservations are REQUIRED, so visit our online shop to make a reservation for your team (reservations will be available March 1). Please count any children toward the reservation number, they do not have to be included in your total if they will be in a stroller or high chair. When making your reservation, please let us know under “Accommodations” if you will have a child in a high chair or stroller so we can plan ahead to give you a table that will work well for you.

100% of the reservation fee will be donated to the local non-profit Greenville Literacy Association. We will also be collecting book donations for their annual Really Good, Really Big, Really Cheap Book Sale.

Trivia will only take place in the indoor dining room, and patio tables will be open to anyone not playing trivia. Trivia table reservations begin at 6pm. The Patio will be open 6-10pm for those not playing trivia.

Trivia will begin promptly at 7pm. Teams with no one present at 7pm will forfeit their reservation without refund.

Any remaining reservations will be available day-of first come, first served.

Winning Team will receive a $50 gift card and 2 six packs of TSG beer!

TRIVIA RESERVATIONS will be available April 1.

The Blood Connection bus will be at The Southern Growl Sunday May 19, 1-6pm.

Donors will receive a pint for a pint* from The Southern Growl and an e-gift card from Blood Connection.
